In collaboration with the Belgian School at Athens, the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut at Athens and the Netherlands Institute at Athens, the Dipylon Society co-organises the ATLAS Seminar (Archaeological Topographies. Current Trends in Landscape Archaeology and Spatial Analysis).
Starting from January 2023, the ongoing seminar takes place on a monthly basis. In an attempt to bridge the gap between mental, ritual, funerary, economic, political, social and gender landscapes and actual dynamic environments, marginal zones, mobile societies and traditional topographies, the goal of this seminar is to explore the future of archaeological topographies and the interpretational power of mapping.
