Participation at the Hands-on Digital Heritage Seminar, 2022

The Dipylon team travelled to Syros to participate in the "Hands-on Digital Heritage Seminar" that was co-organized by the HERitage Management e-Society (HERMeS) and the Syros Institute on May 20-24, 2022.

The seminar focused on enhancing knowledge of the latest technological developments in cultural and architectural heritage through a combination of smart and accessible tools. The activities included workshops, digital heritage flash talks and tours.

In the context of exchanging good practices on issues related to the registration and protection of cultural heritage, Dipylon presented its projects as examples of digital recording, mapping (Geographic Information Systems and web-mapping) and management of geospatial data through audio walks in the context of urban archaeology.
