Presentation in the 2nd CAA-GR conference

The members of Dipylon participated in the 2nd Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology (CAA-GR) conference in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in 20-21 December 2016, with the presentation entitled "Towards modern Greek linked data in the domain of cultural heritage".

The presentation brought together the Acropolis Restoration Service, the National Documentation Centre, the Institute for Language and Speech Processing of the Athena RC and Dipylon to describe their cumulative experience in controlled vocabulary development for cultural heritage and propose combined actions towards the linking of controlled vocabularies in Modern Greek with the Art and Architecture Thesaurus (AAT) of the Getty Research Institute.
