Workshop for the presentation of the work of the Directorate for the Management of the National Archive of Monuments

Dipylon was invited to participate in a Roundtable discussion on "The future of Archives, the future of data," which took place on 9 November 2023 at the National Gallery - Alexandros Soutsos Museum, in the framework of a two-day conference entitled "Recording the past, planning the future" which was organized by the Directorate for the Management of the National Archive of Monuments. On the first day, the three Integrated Information Systems of the National Monuments Management System were presented, which concerned immovable monuments (Archaeological Cadastre), movable monuments (Digital Collections of Movable Monuments) and the Historical Archive of Antiquities and Restorations. On 10 November 2023, there was an extended presentation of the project for recording and documenting the collection of the former royal estate at Tatoi, which is kept at the National Archives of Monuments.
