Presentation of the “Walk to Plato’s Academy” project at the University Jean Monnet of Saint-Étienne, France, 2023

On Thursday, 7 December, Dipylon participated in the scientific meeting "Cultural Heritage and Digital Tools," co-organised by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Jean Monnet University-Saint-Étienne in France and the "Environment-City-Society" (EVS) laboratory.

We delivered a paper on "The Walk to Plato's Academy project", presenting our latest audio web app and focusing on how art and cartographic evidence can reintroduce a neighbourhood's lost landscape to the city's contemporary inhabitants.

The seminar was an excellent opportunity for European institutions to present different approaches to using digital tools for the study and management of cultural heritage. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne University and EVS for organizing and hosting the meeting!
