Participation in the 5th CAA-GR Conference, "Transforming heritage research in a transforming world," 2024

Dipylon participated in the 5th CAA-GR Conference, "Transforming heritage research in a transforming world," in Serres on April 16 and 17, 2024. The conference was organized by the International Hellenic University and the Athena Research Center.

Giorgos Sofianos, archaeologist and member of our team presented the online platform "Mapping Ancient Athens." The paper "From Place to Space: Mapping Ancient Athens" emphasized that the platform promotes archaeological research through the systematic management of antiquities' spatial data.

We warmly thank the organizers for their hospitality and for giving us the opportunity to present our work. We also thank the participants for the fruitful exchanges of knowledge and opinions.
